Healing Praxis Journey

THE BODY NEEDS WATER....LOTS OF WATER!!!
Suggestions on water intake are 1/2 of the oz of your body weight in pounds with a high quality pure, unrefined salt aprox. 1/2 teaspoon for every 2 quarts. Or, you should drink three glasses of water upon rising, stop water intake 30 minutes to one hour before meals, and wait 2 and 1/2 hours before drinking water after meals. Also you may not want to drink too much water upon retiring or you will wake up to pee all night.

Water wait time can be adjusted depending on the foods you eat. Example: fruit requires less time to digest, aprox 30 minutes, carbs about 3 hours and proteins about 8 hours, so you don't have to wait as long after eating fruit, but much longer after protein....get the picture. Listen to your body!!!

THE BODY NEEDS WHOLE FOODS!!!
Recommendations are for WHOLE FOODS only.... that means nothing refined or synthetic. No sugar! No white flour or white rice. Adhere to an Alkaline diet as much as possible with as much variety as you can find. Foods rich in fiber tend to be more alkalizing while proteins tend to be more acidifying. Do not combine fruits with other foods, eat them alone in the morning, up until 12am. Then you can eat proteins, fats, vegetables, and complex carbohydrates. You can combine complex carbs with veggies, but try to eat the protein without the carbs. (I know this is much different than the usual meal plan but easier for digestion) Fruit or nuts are great for in between snacks or desert but should not be combined. Cook in Butter or Coconut oil, otherwise don't heat oils. Eat as raw as possible and consider digestion time; proteins take longer than fruit. The earlier you stop consuming the better for digestion during sleep. Get plenty of water before, in between and after, but not with meals.

AVOID NEGATIVE SELF-TALK!!!
Believe in the power of the Mind...most people have programed themselves to think negatively. Negative thinking creates and supports negative experience. Think of it in quantum terms of reality...I think, therefore I am...Change your belief through your language. For instance...if you think or say...I am addicted to caffeine, you are condemning yourself to have this addiction and it is not really true. Instead start telling yourself that you used to be addicted and now you can control your intake or not drink it at all. We all need a lot of help in this department since we receive many negative messages through parents, culture, media, etc. Don't give up.

MY JOURNEY BEGINS....

WATER CURE: I am going slowly with this not wanting to burst my thirsty cells...but do notice my bone related pain in my jaw, neck and shoulder girdle on my left side diminished slightly. If I drink coffee, it returns. For each cup of coffee, add two additional cups of water.

WHOLE FOOD: I bought lots of wonderful things yesterday and ate far too much and felt really full. I ate a banana and then later an apple for breakfast, then between 12am and 8pm I ate a boiled egg, hummus with organic corn chips, some raw almonds, an avocado on multi-grain sour dough bread, and an artichoke with butter. I also had a hot toddy later with brandy and an herbal honey I made for change ease.


POSITIVE SELF-TALK: I've been working on this for a while, getting over a disappointing relationship. This morning I told myself that I am fabulous and am forgiving myself for any misunderstandings. I am no longer going over details, but instead accepting this loss as a positive move toward greater self-development and a healthier mate. In the past, I was attracted to unhealthy people needing to be healed, but now I attract enlightened people on the path of healing and wholeness.

OTHER: This morning I had asthma shortly after waking, but am feeling less shoulder related pain after two days on the WATER CURE and reducing my coffee intake. I sense that I have some serious blockage and so am considering a salt water flush when I can take some time off. Nothing astounding to report otherwise, but stay tuned. I will try to add links for you soon so you can read more in depth information.
